to zamin se aane lagi sadaa
tera dil to hai sanam-ashna
tujhe kya milega namaaz mein
when i was prostrate in prayer
i heard a voice from the ground
when your heart itself is the beloved

faisla dil ka
na ho nigaah mein shokhi
to dilbari kya hai
just with a glance
does the heart decide
if the glance has no playfulness
where then is the charm
