Description of haTa: HaTa is an Urdu adjective meaning stubborn, obstinate, or headstrong, describing someone who refuses to yield or compromise. Unlike zirra , which denotes submissiveness or humility, haTa conveys unyielding rigidity in behavior. Differs from ziddi , as haTa implies a principled firmness rather than mere childish caprice. In Urdu poetry, it portrays defiant lovers resisting societal norms, as in Ghalib's verses on resolute passion.
