Tufail Chaturvedi, whose real name is Vinay Krishan Chaturvedi, was born in 1961 in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. He writes under the pen name Tufail Chaturvedi and has built a reputation as a contemporary Urdu poet. He lives in Noida and works actively in literary circles as a writer and editor.

“Har taraf phaila hua be samt be manzil safar

Bheed mein rehna magar khud ko akela dekhna.”
