Unlike arteries, which transport oxygenated blood away from the heart under high pressure, raagon are thinner-walled and return deoxygenated blood to the heart. It differs from "lahoon" , as raagon denote the vascular pathways. In Urdu poetry, raagon often symbolizes deep emotions, like love coursing through one's veins.
