2 Urdu couplets and shers with jald
jald: fast, quick
Description of jald: Jald is an Urdu adverb meaning "quickly" or "hastily," denoting speed or urgency in action. Unlike tez , which often describes inherent speed or velocity, jald emphasizes performing a task with haste or little delay. Differs from shayad , as it conveys promptness rather than uncertainty. In Urdu poetry, poets like Ghalib use jald to evoke rushed emotions, such as "Dil ki baat jald keh do" .
