Unlike garrulous individuals who speak excessively, kam-sukhan people prefer silence over idle chatter. Differs from completely mute, as it implies selective speech rather than total absence. In poetry, it appears as "wo kam-suKHan th? magar ais? kam-su?han bh? na th?," praising truthful brevity.
