2 Urdu couplets and shers with mahv

mahv(m): absorbed, charmed

Description of mahv: Mahv is an Urdu word meaning profound absorption, annihilation of the self, or complete immersion, often in divine love or spiritual ecstasy. Unlike temporary engrossment in worldly pursuits, mahv entails a total dissolution of ego and sensory awareness. It differs from mere contemplation by involving ecstatic union where individual consciousness merges indistinguishably with the divine. In Sufi poetry, Rumi evokes mahv as the lover's obliteration in the beloved's essence.
