Hasan Naim

Hasan Naim was a distinguished modern Urdu poet whose work carried a contemplative and introspective depth. Born in India in 1935, he migrated to Pakistan after Partition, where he continued to develop his literary voice. He became known in literary circles for his mastery of the ghazal, a form he infused with thoughtfulness and a meditative quality.

His ghazals reflected not only themes of love and longing but also philosophical questions about existence, memory, and time.
