Ghulam Mohammed Qasir was a distinguished Urdu poet from Pakistan, known for his refined ghazals and his ability to merge classical grace with modern sensibility. Born in 1944 in Paharpur, Dera Ismail Khan, he grew up in a culturally rich environment where Urdu poetry was admired and cultivated. His early love for literature led him to pursue studies in the subject, and he later became a lecturer in Urdu, balancing his profession with his creative life.
