Description of shamein: Shamein is an Urdu word meaning "candles," referring to sources of light used in traditional lamps or lanterns. Unlike modern electric bulbs, shamein produce a soft, flickering glow from wax or oil, evoking warmth and intimacy. Differs from "mashaal" , as shamein are stationary and enclosed for indoor use. In poetry, shamein symbolize fleeting beauty and divine illumination, as in Sufi verses likening the soul's yearning to their gentle flame.
