3 Urdu couplets and shers with shukr

shukr(m): gratitude, thanks

Description of shukr: Shukr is an Arabic term meaning thankfulness, gratitude, or acknowledgment of blessings, especially from God, revered as a core virtue in Islam. Unlike mere verbal thanks, it encompasses heartfelt recognition and obedient actions to honor the divine source. Differs from kufr, its opposite, which conceals or forgets blessings rather than unveiling them. In Sufi poetry, shukr manifests as a spiritual station, expressed through prostration like sujud al-shukr.
